The Global Research Policy Institute (GRPI) was proud to support "Nadeshiko-kai," a professional network for women dedicated to public policy, on 23 April.

The network welcomed Mr. Hidehiro Yokoo, Executive Advisor to DENSO Corporation, to speak on the theme: "External Affairs and Economic Security: Structures and Activities — Insights from DENSO’s Experience."

As geopolitical risks become increasingly complex, understanding how a leading global Japanese corporation approaches economic security and builds its intelligence infrastructure is more critical than ever. Drawing on his extensive expertise from his distinguished career at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), JETRO, and DENSO, Mr. Yokoo provided deeply insightful perspectives on the current landscape.

The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A period, offering participants a valuable opportunity for high-level practical discussion. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Yokoo for sharing his invaluable expertise.

GRPI remains committed to supporting initiatives like Nadeshiko-kai to foster talent and strengthen the community within the field of public policy in Japan.
